What is a hydrolat?
In the steam-distilling process, the water and oil separate and the water is collected as a hydrolat. Hydrolats can be used as a spray on the skin, around a room to help clear the energy of a space, or as a liquid essence of the plant to drink. This is the pure infusion of the plant material with water, and is not the same as adding an essential oil to a bottle of water. We stand behind the quality of our product, and we understand that mistakes happen. For this reason, we offer a 30-day grace period on un-opened Sacred Scents Aromatherapy essences. All unopened bottles will be given store credit or exchanged, full price, once they are shipped back to us successfully. All shipping costs will be paid by the customer and charged upon exchange. Should their be an exchange that costs more or less than the original essence, we will either refund or charge the difference in cost as needed. If we made a shipping error, we will pay all shipping costs to correct the order. Once a bottle has been opened, we can no longer accept it back for store credit or exchange.
