Vetiver is a Certified Organic root essence from India that grows abundantly. She was introduced to Haiti in the 1940's by a Frenchman named Lucien Ganot. Now Vetiver is Haiti's biggest exporter. She is known as the "Oil of Tranquility" and "The Fragrance of the Soil" in both India and Sri Lanka. She has been used for rope-making, to cool drinking water, and as a medicine for healing ailments and keeping the body cool.

Vetiver helps to heal arthritis, rheumatism, muscle pain, and spasms. She promotes circulation, vascular health, and fortifying our blood cells. Vetiver is also great for the skin and acne, wounds, wrinkles, and infections. For the Reproductive System, she helps to tone the uterus, promote the moon cycle, help impotence, warm frigidity, and work as an aphrodisiac. She is great for the nerves, insomnia, and nervous tension, while helping to balance the Central Nervous System.

Vetiver helps to uplift the spirit by addressing Postpartum Depression, helping one to find pleasure in being alive, and promoting feelings of connection to the eternal spirit. Anoint 5-10 drops over the heart for the aura, onto skin issues directly, or onto the bottoms of the feet for rest, grounding, and letting go.
