Aromatherapy Share: Essential Oils For Expanding In Hope...

Updated: 6 days ago

Hope is a strong spiritual frequency that keeps us going, inspires us, and makes us feel safe and able. It is important to never let go of Hope, as it is our tie to the physical world. Once we let go of Hope, it is time for us to transition into our spiritual energies. Since plants are sentient beings, they can help us create a bridge between these worlds and increase our levels of Hope in our lives. Our three favorite essences for cultivating more Hope are Peppermint, Pink Grapefruit, and Cedarwood Atlas.

Peppermint is a perennial plant that dates back to Egypt over 3,000 years ago. She has been used for virility and as a stimulant since the 18th century. Peppermint has natural cooling properties for places of excess heat, and she is good for pain, sinus infections, mental exhaustion, and headaches. Her unique power of clarity works on the ego and the areas of pride, inferiority, resentment, anger, frustration, and negativity. Peppermint calls in the Truth, Divine connections, and Hope. She inspires us to imagine much bigger and create the life of our dreams.

Pink Grapefruit is a fruit from a subtropical evergreen tree. She was once called the "forbidden fruit" from the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil". She is anti-septic and works great for detoxifying the lymph and cleansing drugs from the system. Energetically, Pink Grapefruit supports one in building confidence, optimism, and self-Love. She is the essence for increasing hopefulness. There may be times in life where we get discouraged, but taking a few steps back to look at the bigger picture helps us to direct our will-power toward the highest and greatest good. Pink Grapefruit is our ally of Hope, helping us rise higher and believe in our efforts of goodness.

Cedarwood Atlas is a large, cone-bearing tree that symbolizes spiritual strength, fertility, and abundance. Even her Latin name means "power". Cedarwood Atlas is an anti-fungal immune system stimulant that helps the skin, circulation, arthritic conditions, the kidneys, and much more. She is uplifting and supports the release of negative emotions in order to have a positive outlook on life. This amazing tree essence works to help release stuck emotions, toxic feelings, and heartache. She is a plant of hopefulness, self-liberation, and transformation. When we have had to endure trauma, this tree essence serves as a bridge back to Spirit through personal strength, increased Hope, and healing boundaries.

These three essences can be used together or on their own to support our internal relationship to Hope. Simply anoint 5-10 drops of each essence onto the skin and breathe in their scents while setting your intentions. Peppermint can be extremely cold on the skin for some, so anointing the bottoms of the feet is the safest way to use her. Pink Grapefruit is wonderful to anoint over the heart. Cedarwood Atlas can be anointed either over the heart, at the nape of the neck, or over the solar plexus. Use each plant essence with Love, honor, and respect, and be open to your journey into the arms of Hope.
