Joshua's Corner: Actions of Peace
Often we think of peace as stillness or tranquility. In my view, peace can be present even in the toughest of moments. It just depends on how we engage the situation at hand. This perception and embodiment of peace is always attainable. Like most, I have grappled with being overreactive and also indulging in frivolous disregard. Ultimately, a peaceful heart and mind are priceless. Personal generosity and compassion builds exponentially when we engage in peaceful thoughts, feelings and actions. Remember that the inner and outer joy we seek will only manifest from the peace we make with our past. So we must do our best to combine forgiveness and compassion with every thought, as to move forward to lasting peace.
