Joshua's Corner: Reality of Duality...

Imagine a place inside your being that knows all truth and knows all the right answers to life's questions. This magical, and at times illusive space, is the soul. We access the soul through prayer, faith, service, charity and many other ways unknown to me. Now introduce human desires, a.k.a. ego, and this earthly component of life experiences duality. It is a fact that duality is real (example : night and day). This ego prefers to persuade our soul into believing it is imperfect. In reality we all have these two forces that play there games out in our lives. When we are not in the drivers seat - the heart center, we fly from side to side with emotions, fear, etc... A few ways that I have seen work for me and others is to take your soul power back by simply connecting with-in your-self daily, be it meditation, exercise, Tai Chi, Yoga, prayer, dance, gardening... or whatever gets you there. Practice consistency and be unattached to the expectations of others, you can only "control" you!
