All around egos rise and fall.

Yet the meek get the blame for it all.

Your poli-tricks are useless in the age of truth.

Yet still you front like a brute.

We see your cracks, we see your colors change.

We see you in fits of revengeful rage.

Sore loser, sore winner.

Your childhood scars, the lack of love made.

So easy to see by anyone.

It's hard to accept, but we are one.

Your fragile shell is bound to break.

It’s a little thing called the give and take.

So, go ahead and make your bold statements,

And try to implement your vision of greatness.

We all know you to be a tool for hire,

With no soul and full of vire. 

In the end we all suffer or thrive,

Depending on who we want to drive.

Be kind, courageous and authentic.

Never doubt your compassion while being realistic.

Choose wisely from day to day,

Never give in to what the orange man may say.

We are stronger as a human family,

So trust your neighbors and remember to respect dignity.

One day at time, that is all that's kinda-sorta guaranteed,

Peace to your soul, the planet, and those in need.
