Weekly Insights: Moving Into the Portal of Love...

There is a metaphysical gateway that connects our hearts with the unconditional Love of the universe, and we call this the "Portal of Love". It is part of a heart opening and awakening into our higher consciousness. Each of us has to travel through it alone, as the door is inside of our hearts and we have the choice to open it or keep it closed. It is a moment of allowing and of healing. To truly open the heart, we have to become vulnerable, honest, and transparent with ourselves. We have to be willing to forgive and let go of our past scars, traumas, and pains so we are not carrying our baggage with us everywhere we go. Self-healing and moving through our struggles can open us up to the Infinite Light that dwells in the heart.

Observing the world and the current temperature of the planet, we can clearly see that the harsher, crueler, and more dishonest energies are challenging us all to question our values and true character. A strong handed approach to civility has found its way to the end of the Kali Yuga Dark Ages. Communities are being tested for their resilience and strength when under pressure. This age-old story of money, power, and greed is dueling once again with the conscious vibrations of higher values that serve our communities by creating peace and prosperity for all. People ask us why it feels like the darkness is winning the battle against the Light, and we reflect the understanding of Yin and Yang. There are times on the planet of great awakening and healing, and there are times of darkness, devastation, and destruction. It is part of this Earthly story, and it is the outcome of the eternal wheel of life. It doesn't mean that we should give up our efforts to transmute the darkness into the Light, but it does mean that we need to understand why it persists, while releasing the need to try and control what is not, and will never be, in our control.

The fleeting powers, like the power of fame, political influence, or acquired wealth, are very temporary. These powers only live on the Earthly plane, and do not go with us from lifetime to lifetime. Because they come from a shallow well, they require protection from those who are invested in them here on the Earth. There will always be people misusing their powers, and there will always be people who use their influence to help the darkest deeds persist. Our society runs on systems, and sometimes these systems are compromised by manipulative forces like money and power. The bullies in our systems are louder, bolder, and more intimidating than those who have the most integrity. To the public eye, these bullies seem stronger and more effective with their harsher ways than "the nice guy", who society says "always finishes last". So why should the Light continue to fight amidst these darker times?

It sometimes feels like such an uphill battle to stand for what is right. However, at the end of the day, the Light always shines through. The truth always finds its way out of the shadows, and Love always wins. Maybe it takes time and the journey is more of a long-distance run instead of a short-distance sprint, but Love is enduring and patient. When we truly care about something or someone, then we are willing to go the long haul in order to see that fairness, compassion, and goodness prevail. Life is not fair, but justice is served in due time. No matter how we think we can manipulate one another, the universe sees everything. We are invisible to the world of the unseen, and the karmic rewards we reap always manifest in the most timely fashion. If we hurt someone or something, that energy will come back around in a unique way in order to create balance where it has been lost. No matter how much perceived power and influence one may think they have, the truth always rises to the top.

What can we do to help manifest positive change? Awareness, education, and social literacy is crucial. As much as we want to put our heads in the sand and turn away from the chaos happening around us, it is the last thing we need to do. We can only create positive change when we are aware that something needs our attention. A daily practice is so important when trying to ground during times of transition. Whether it is chanting meditation, praying religiously, journaling, or other spiritual practices, it is important to keep our frequencies high. This keeps us neutral when we take action and approach one another in our authentic expressions of truth. We have to be able to have productive conversations with people we don't agree with in order to find middle ground. In order to do this, personal work is needed to calm the nervous system and channel higher energies that can create pathways for positive change. We need one another and we need to cultivate the ability to listen to, as well as share, our deepest concerns with one another. A Love-based society births out of cooperation, collaboration, and the ability to communicate different perspectives and beliefs productively. We have to also be open to changing our minds and stretching our perceptions to encompass broader concepts and ideas that we never knew were possible before. This is the true gift of working together for the greatest good. It is each of our responsibilities to stand up for the truth. If we don't understand something, then we can invest in learning more information so that we will know when we are fed with lies. The first step is to learn and understand the facts, without the influence of emotion or personal feelings. Then, it is important that we hold each other, the media, and the stronger public personalities accountable for living the truth and not a made-up reality that fits their agenda. It takes a lot of courage to stand up for the Light, but this is what it takes to manifest eternal Light on Earth. Slowly, the truth, integrity, and goodness will replace the areas of hatred, lies, manipulation, and injustice. It comes when the average person uses their own personal "privileges" to uplift others, serve the greater good of humanity, and practice compassion, kindness, and mercy.

Through artwork, songs, personal stories, spiritual practices, rituals, and the daily art of "being", we are creating the new story. We speak it into reality with our words, and we set the blueprint with our actions and behaviors. It is a wonderful thing to pass on from generation to generation, teaching our children that goodness may look and seem "weak" on the Earthly plane, but the subtle strengths that come out of Loving words, actions, and gestures travel with us from lifetime to lifetime. They are eternal fires that burn in our hearts and motivate us to do more, to be more, and to embrace our vastness. There is a higher power in charge of the finer details, we only need to surrender to Love at every twist and turn on the journey. We are in this together, and we are seen by the unseen forces. The only thing to do now is to trust the process, live authentically, and be the extension of the Light in all ways. Spread Love, be Love, and embrace Love, and the "Portal of Love" will open for the all goodness to flow right back in. In the 11th hour, when we feel we are about to give up, that is when the magic happens. Trust, have Faith, and Believe in the very best, and it will manifest at the most perfect time in life.
