Weekly Insights: Pisces Full Moon & Partial Lunar Eclipse...

We have been moving through an eclipse portal since September of 2024, and working to identify and release a part of ourselves that we have outgrown, yet for some reason have chosen not to let go of yet. Pisces and Virgo are in the mix, and the Pisces aspect of this transformational shift ends this week. Virgo will conclude its part in February of 2027. This is all great, but what does it mean and how does it show up in our lives? Let's dive in!

The astrological sign of Pisces is the last sign in the zodiac, so it represents the wisdom gained from life's lessons, the end of major cycles, and the intuitive, imaginative, and creative energies coming to maturity. Pisces is a water sign and brings out our sensitivities, emotions, and deep inner feelings. It can make us more compassionate, empathetic, and understanding, but requires healthy boundaries, discernment, and honesty. The Full Moon in Pisces helps to bring to Light what is living deep inside of the heart. We are being asked to feel deeply while remaining grounded, and to surrender to the lessons that come up for us while protecting our energy and not giving up on what is most important. Sometimes Pisces can guide our imagination into fantasy, and the fantasy can trickle into our daily lives. This can lead to different forms of escapism, or it can cause us to project our fantasies onto others and blur the lines between our inner visions and reality. Pisces teaches about how to release, forgive, let go, and close doors to energies that are complete. In order to grow, something has to die. For us to become a new age, the old age can no longer exists. In order to embrace a new relationship or career, we must first let go of the previous ones and create space for the new. This is true for most everything in our lives, and this is part of lesson that the Pisces Full Moon brings to the table.

The Partial Lunar Eclipse means that the Earth is moving between the Sun and the Moon in one line, but the line is not perfectly straight, so the Sun is only shining Light on the Moon partially, and therefore we see a portion of the Moon darkened for a period of time. It can look red, and that's why it's sometimes called a Blood Moon. The Moon reflects our inner world and emotions, so this is the perfect time to go inside and reflect on what we are feeling. This Partial Lunar Eclipse is related to Pisces, as it is the culmination of a two-year cycle. We can look back at that time and remember what was happening, how we were feeling, and what aspects of trust, surrender, and creativity we were experiencing. There are areas of our lives that we have outgrown, and we not longer need to carry the weight of our past. We are learning how to trust in the future, knowing that we are guided, protected, and taken care of by the Universe when we follow our dreams, inner visions, and higher guidance. There is a difference between our dreams and reality, and this is also a time to ground into what is possible instead of what we wish was possible. Discernment allows us to see the difference between our projections and reality. It helps us to tap into our inner feelings and separate them from what is really happening. Some call this spiritual maturity. Instead of denying our intuition and sensitivities, we can hone in on them, strengthen them, and understand them better so we don't confuse reality with fantasy. This can show up in our relationships with others, and our projections or absorption of other people's stuff. It can also manifest in our ability to say "no" and walk away from what the heart is guiding us to do instead of trying to make other people happy in the moment. People-pleasing can result in making decisions based on guilt and not on what is best for everyone involved. Love doesn't ask us to be unhappy or unfulfilled, but instead invites us to find our joy alongside of our Loved ones while they also find their joy. The pain and suffering that our Loved ones experience does not need to be absorbed by everyone around them in order to be considered a good friend or lover. We also don't have to attach ourselves to outdated versions of ourselves in order to make others more comfortable. Evolution is an important part of growth, and if we are stopping ourselves from moving forward for someone else, then we need to evaluate the health of our relationships. It is time to choose Love, not just for those around us, but for ourselves as well. In some cases, we have to distance ourselves from toxic energies in order to create more peace, rest, beauty, and grace in our lives. When we know our purpose, who we are, and where we are going, then it is much easier to see what no longer fits in the big picture.

Aside from Pisces making waves for us to ride, the Sun in Virgo sits directly opposite of the Pisces Full Moon, which means that these two signs form an axis that causes them to approach this topic of growth and evolution together. While Pisces goes deep inside to reveal how we feel, Virgo asks us to address what is actually happening and how we are going to deal with it all. Virgo is the grounding force that helps us create a plan of action. Whether there is something we can actually do, or that we simply have to accept things for what they are, Virgo seeks a deeper understanding of the situation. Together, the creative and organized energies of the Moon and the Sun, and the signs of Pisces and Virgo, all create a dance that guides us toward a way to serve humanity with our hearts while not losing ourselves in the process. It is giving while receiving, Loving without losing ourselves, or caring for others while still caring for ourselves. Once we can identify where we have created imbalance through Pisces, we can utilize Virgo to create positive changes. The heart and the mind, when working together, can help us live happy, free, and creative lives while using the wisdom, practicality, and common sense that ground us toward the best possible pathway forward.

In summary, this week wraps up a cycle in our lives that needs adjusting. Each of us must answer the question of what that is for us personally, and have the courage to face it and address it with practical and logical actions moving forward. The inner journey of revealing how we feel deep inside is culminating with Pisces, and the Virgo piece of the puzzle that has the solution will be culminating early next year. What areas in life are asking us to change? Now is the time to be honest, open, and reflective. These cosmic opportunities are gifts from the Universe. How are you going to utilize them? Now is the time to answer the call.
