Weekly Insights: Pluto Returns This Week:
After a retrograde season that began back in May, Pluto is finally preparing to move direct. Named after the Roman god of the underworld, Pluto symbolizes the death of one reality, making space for the birth of another. Its influence invites each of us to seek a deeper understanding of what lies beneath the surface of our minds, hearts, and spirits. Pluto gives us the courage to see things more clearly, uncover hidden truths, and discover opportunities for greater expansion, freedom, and personal growth.
Since May, we have been uncovering the places within ourselves where we hold fear and grief, feel vulnerable or attached, or hide from ourselves and our realities. This has been a deeply healing period of conscious awareness, encouraging us to develop a healthier relationship with uncomfortable feelings and difficult thoughts. Pluto is associated with shadow integration, inviting us to stop resisting these emotions and instead meet them with Love. When we learn to accept every part of ourselves—including who we have been in the past—we create space to make wiser choices for our future and for the greater good of all.
The places where we have experienced rejection, disapproval, or even profound abandonment can become portals to strength, wisdom, and resilience. Pluto represents transformation and regeneration, helping us reclaim our personal agency, rebuild our inner strength, and embrace renewal. Through this process, we can release unhealthy habits and establish healthier, more sustainable practices that support our long-term goals and visions.
As Pluto moves direct, we are given time and space to integrate the lessons of these past several months and reflect on how we have worked with these powerful healing energies. Have we made adjustments in the areas where we have overextended ourselves, ignored our personal boundaries, or disconnected from our inner needs and outer realities in an effort to make others happy or satisfy expectations outside ourselves?
Ultimately, this is about embodiment. Once we recognize and understand what we need to honor our worth and reclaim our personal agency, we must put that knowledge into practice. We are our own greatest allies, and Pluto’s retrograde period has invited us to recognize the places where we may not have fully honored ourselves. If we have not yet made the necessary changes, now is the time to listen, observe, pay attention, and take action.
The “death” of the old and the rebirth of the “new” are essential parts of moving toward greater wholeness and harmony. A new relationship with ourselves and our lives is beginning to emerge, bringing with it an invitation to embrace change. All we need to do is answer the call.
Now is the time to surrender to this renewed sense of purpose and allow major life transitions to illuminate what matters most. As we release what no longer serves us and make room for what supports our highest good, we can move forward with greater clarity, courage, and compassion.
After all, beneath every transformation, every healing journey, and every new beginning, there is one essential truth: All we truly need is LOVE!
