Aromatherapy Share: Essence of the Week - Leleshwa (Tarchonanthus Camphoratus L.)...

Leleshwa is our tree Essence of the Week. She is a wild-harvested leaf essence that is used by the Maasai tribe in Africa as a medicine, for bedding, and to keep bugs away. Her Latin name means "Funeral Flower", symbolizing the innocence that is restored in the soul once our physical body has passed on. High in camphor, Leleshwa is known for her physical support with healing skin issues. She is known to help promote restful sleep, ward away evil spirits, and heal nightmares.

Leleshwa is anti-fungal, anti-septic, and anti-microbial. She heals skin irritations, psoriasis, burns, cold sores, insect bites, and wounds. This powerful leaf essence is a lung aid that helps asthma, bronchitis, and sinus infections. Leleshwa can be anointed onto sore muscles, stiff joints, and arthritic conditions. She addresses headaches, warts, and hemorrhoids as well. Energetically, Leleshwa is a forgiveness aid, helping to maintain a peaceful state of consciousness. She wards away darkness, anxiety, and reactiveness. Through higher states of heart-expansion, Leleshwa brings an energy of kindness, compassion, and a healing meditative state that bridges the mind and heart together as one.

Anoint 5-10 drops directly onto the skin where there are bug bites, burns, or other skin wounds or infections, over the chest for lung support, or directly onto sore muscles or other areas of physical pain. Continue 2-3 times a day for 120 days to see how Leleshwa works for you.
