Aromatherapy Share: Essence of the Week - White Spruce (Picea glauca)...
White Spruce is a Wild-Harvested needle essence from a beautiful evergreen tree in Canada. She is known as one of the "finest trees in the world" because of how adaptable she is and how much she nurtures the land around her. Wildlife species of birds, mammals, and insects use her as a nest and a food source. White Spruce is revered in Native American culture as a food, medicine, and shelter, and is used in ceremonies, rituals, and deeper connections with nature.
White Spruce is anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and an energy booster. She helps the common cold, cough, sore throat, and respiratory infections. For the skin, White Spruce is great for irritations, wounds, cuts, rashes, sores, and burns. She addresses pain in the body and helps swelling, inflammation, and sore joints.
Energetically, White Spruce helps to open the Crown Chakra as a spiritual cleanser. She amplifies our abilities to raise our consciousness, increase our intuition, and support our meditation practices. White Spruce is uplifting, energizing, and protective. She helps us ground, center, and connect deeply with Mother Earth. With an elevated perspective, she supports us in having more confidence and helps us create a stronger sense of self.
Anoint 5-10 drops over the heart, onto the crown, over the spine, or onto the bottoms of the feet for spiritual elevation. Otherwise anoint directly over the area of concern. Apply 2-3 times a day for 120 days before deciding if you need to continue the protocol or if there is no more need. Happy Healing!
