Spikenard is a root from the Himalayan Mountains of India. She was historically known as the anointing oil that Mary used on Jesus before he was hung on the cross. Spikenard is historically known as a sacred anointing oil for ceremonies and rituals.


Spikenard is a natural cardiac aid that helps with thrombosis, heartbeat regulation, circulation, and varicose veins. She helps to relieve a migraine headache, release stress, and let go of tension. Spikenard activates the parasympathetic nervous system that helps to relax the body and bring harmony when experiencing insomnia. She is wonderful as a body coolant when the body has a fever, and she is great for staph infections. Spikenard relieves constipation as a natural laxative. She also functions to regulate the hormones. For the skin, Spikenard is good for allergic reactions, rashes, wounds, wrinkles, psoriasis, and incurable skin problems.
