Poem of the Week: Change-Makers Unite In Love...

It may be hard to see, hear, or swallow,

But we are not here to be sheep that follow.

Each with a drive and inner Light glow,

Sharing life wisdom for others to know.

Voices that bring awareness to dark corners,

Are the flag raisers and the Truth informers.

They also become targets of hatred and blame,

Because they've decided not to play the game.

It is much easier to stay complacent and quiet,

Instead of protesting injustice or acting defiant.

But without supporting the rebel change-makers,

We can become part of the darkness partakers.

It's time to follow the higher voices,

Taking a stand and making good choices.

Speaking up when injustice is present,

Applying pressure, & making things unpleasant.

If not us, who else will stand up?

The darkness won't stop being corrupt.

The Light must shine on and always pervade,

Never allowing the clouds to throw shade.

It is up to each one of us to be true to the soul,

Promoting peace, Love, and freedom of control.

Live boldly authentic, and don't ever forget,

In the face of darkness, Love is the biggest threat.
