Poem of the Week: Stop, Drop, and Roll Toward Justice...
Justice rises from the ashes of the fire,
Like the phoenix elevating higher and higher.
Not allowing the unfairness of the world to scorch us,
Practicing healthy boundaries and feeling victorious.
Stopping the chaos and mental confusion,
Trying not to buy into the trap of illusion.
Not reacting to each thing that goes wrong,
These lessons are here to make us feel strong.
The fire runs wild when we are reactive,
Or when passions burn hot and radioactive.
Dropping to the ground to surrender to the Earth,
Humility is the gift that leads to a rebirth.
Dropping the expectations of things going one way,
Staying present to what happens every day.
Rolling forward open to infinite blessings,
Instead of worrying, being fearful, or stressing.
Rolling with the ups and downs of each lesson,
Staying neutral and practicing discretion.
Chillin' enough to extinguish the heat,
Learning and growing and feeling complete.
The fires of life have burned away the past,
So we can evolve and make happiness last.
All that remains is freedom, harmony, and justice,
And healing Light that illuminates so lustrous.
