Poem of the Week: Confronting Inner Conflict...

Seeds have been planted from childhood,
Permanently etched in the heart for good.
It was never about forgetting the past,
But holding Love and compassion so vast.
Whatever the inner conflict may be,
This is a time to set the soul free.
Forgiving, releasing, and clearing the story,
Instead of overthinking and taking inventory.
Owning the truth and the feelings so deep,
Rising above darkness with dignity to keep.
Nurturing the healing journey ahead,
Choosing self-care over wallowing in dread.
Holding strong boundaries of safety and space,
A necessary step for healing to take place.
Grieving pain, betrayal, abandonment, and loss,
And for those who sold out for an agreed cost.
Struggles come in different shapes and sizes,
Creating inner conflict with various guises.
We have the power to transmute the pain,
Learning, growing, and becoming strong again.
By owning the story and choosing the ending,
Energies awaken for healing and transcending.
Not carrying the weight of the past any longer,
Growing new seeds and feeling much stronger.
