Poem of the Week: The Choice To Rise...

Observing thyself from the inside out,

Inspiring visions by those that sow doubt.

Learning how to listen and reflect,

Deciding not to be attached or to expect.

Paying attention to each and every breath,

A chance to celebrate this life over death.

Every experience is a dance with the soul,

Helping feed the heart that fills us whole.

Cultivating strength and higher wisdom,

Rising above the duality of the system.

Becoming an extension of the Light,

Making the decisions and doing things right.

This life is defined by our daily choices,

And by the words coming from our voices.

Manifesting what lives deep inside,

With the subconscious mind as the guide.

True strength births out of our evolution,

Choosing Love and kindness as the solution.

Each day so different, but filled with gifts,

Choosing to go down or rising to uplift.

Some days are easy and others are painful,

Following the heart and Love is most gainful.

One day at a time and at our own pace,

We make the choice to rise with grace.
