Poem of the Week: Humanity...

Humanity is originally from a Latin word,

It is "human nature & kindness", so I've heard.

All humans feel joy, fear, Love, and pain,

And have hands, feet, a body, and a brain.

Emotionally tied to what we Love the most,

Feeling healthy or sick when we're diagnosed.

United in searching for meaning & purpose,

Living a life full of compassion and service.

Kind-hearted beings that work toward peace,

Amping up good vibes so they can increase.

Working together as a community at large,

No matter who's leading or who is in charge.

Defining Humanity can describe who we are,

Setting the temperature and raising the bar.

We only need to tap into the heart of Light,

When challenged by the dark soul of the night.

Rising above the destructive ego and pride,

Not allowing human arrogance to reside.

Because who we are as souls incarnated,

Are infinite beings that are materially weighted.

Brothers and Sisters of the Divine so great,

Each with a destiny as well as a fate.

It is not our duty to judge and play God,

Hiding behind our darkness with a facade.

Instead, we are here to become better and rise,

Learning, growing, and opening our eyes.

This life is a school and we are all in session,

Shifting with wisdom & learning from digression.

Finding our place in Humanity to evolve,

Developing the answers to problems we solve.

The key to being a big part of this Humanity,

Is staying kind during the chaos and insanity.
