Poem of the Week: The Illusions We Can't Ignore...

The shadows draw in behaviors we cannot see,

Until the Light comes in and spills the tea.

The fears that change the way we live,

The attachments that shift how we give.

Walls that have been built to offer protection,

Sources of identity that we have questioned.

Ways that we have given away our freedom,

Not having things in life when we need 'em.

The Light of Truth exposing each illusion,

Offering clarity in areas of confusion.

Liberating the mind of all limitations,

Releasing attachments and expectations.

Now that the darkness has been detected.

Imbalances stand out and must be corrected.

They can't be unseen or taken back,

The only way forward is to get on track.

The gift is the exposure of the unseen,

Offering an opportunity to wipe the slate clean.

These illusions are not to be ignored,

Living our Truth offers great rewards.
