Poem of the Week: The Judge & Jury of Life...

We judge ourselves for the little things,
Each of us can be judged, and that stings.
But who is in a place to judge our lives,
Criticizing us and our husbands and wives?
Each of us is born with deep inner flaws,
No one is perfect, so we can all pause.
Some things may seem too hard to see,
There will always be people who disagree.
As long as no one hurts another in life,
We still have a chance to refute our strife.
Healing our inner conflicts and pains,
No longer projecting what's stuck in the brain.
The ultimate judge and jury with power,
Is Great Spirit breathing in life every hour.
The rest of us can work on ourselves every day,
While taking time to enjoy our lives and play.
At the end of the journey we get to see,
A book of life experiences as a potpourri.
Seeing what we did and hearing what we said,
What did our words & actions intend to spread?
As soon as we judge, we find ourselves back,
In a physical reality for us to unpack.
So let go of expectations and focus on Love,
Embodying who we are like a fitted glove.
There's no time to waste judging other people,
We just have to live a full life that is gleeful.
