Weekly Insights: A Cultural Reckoning...

We have cycled back around to a time of rewiring. Those who are willing to challenge the status quo, tell the Truth, disrupt complacency, and lead grass roots movements toward justice and liberation for all, are a huge part of this moment of awakening. There are so many outdated belief systems based upon ignorance and falsehoods that are hanging on by a thread. Once the final string has broken, there will be an opening for a higher consciousness to evolve. Before there can be a construction of the new, there has to be a destruction of the old.

Duality has stretched us to opposite poles, focusing on the things that separate us, while instilling fear around the "others" within any given community. We have lost touch with our dependence on Mother Earth, we have lost our connection to the importance of human rights around the world, and we have stopped protecting our most vulnerable forms of life on the planet in order to support systems that distract us, while exploiting and dividing the masses. As we learn through the Yin/Yang symbol, one extreme eventually weakens, neutralizes, and then swings to another extreme in the natural cycles of life. Just as we have reached a precipice of greed and the misuse of power, we are already on our way back to harmony through the balancing of energies. The quickest way back to center is through the portal of Truth. More than ever, the Truths that are revealed at this time are the catalysts toward our cultural reprogramming. Instead of believing a fabricated story that protects the most abusive and corrupt of us all, we can shine the Light on the energies of honesty, integrity, service, equity, and intelligence, while letting go of falsehoods, domination, greed, blind ignorance, and bias. In using words like stewardship of land, reimagined leadership, liberation of all forms of life, and the empowerment of the collective to live out their destiny and manifest their dreams, we are inviting in sovereignty for all, and a revolutionary shift toward our cultural reconstruction. How is this even possible in the current climate that we live in? This question has been brought up quite a bit in the last six months.

Our daily rituals help us build energies that manifest positive vibrations and goodness on the planet. Holding gratitude and letting go of pain through a daily practice of forgiveness are the first steps to birthing the Light we need in order to see through any perceived darkness. Facing our personal shadows, and opening the doors to the areas we have been stuck inside of for years, can help to clear heaviness and darkness. Instead of seeking revenge, trying to "one-up" one another, lying, cheating, and stealing from each other, we can choose to care, act out of kindness, practice compassion, serve, offer support, and work to understand and bridge the gaps between one another. We choose these higher roads in the thoughts we allow ourselves to hold, the emotions we choose to express, the words we choose to speak, the actions we choose to take, the habits we choose to practice, and the behaviors we choose to continue each and every day. In nurturing and Loving one another and our differences, we are creating a whole new blueprint of a reality that helps instead of hurts, and builds instead of breaks down. Everything has its time and space to exist, and this is the time for a cultural reckoning. The old empire is no longer relevant because something new is emerging from the hearts of all living beings. As soon as we accept this time of transformation, we will find the pathway to actualizing it into existence. Are we ready to be a part of this time of radical change? It is ready for all of us now!
