Weekly Insights: Service As Strength...

Observing the world around us, it is easy to start to think that the only way to get ahead is to be selfish and greedy. As we move through the end of the dark ages, it starts to feel like everyone is out for themselves and that kindness, compassion, and empathy are just weaknesses. The truth is that it is exactly the opposite. Just like we are stronger when we exhale our breath out, we are more powerful when we are giving back to life with our passions and dreams. The act of giving creates the space of an empty void for the Universe to fill with blessings in our lives. Higher mystic teachings share that giving back to life is what charges us with goodness on all levels - especially when we give what we enjoy sharing the most. Service is not supposed to be depleting, but instead, it is meant to be something that feeds the soul. We can find our deepest fulfillment in life when we work to unite and strengthen our interconnectedness as living beings. Instead of being part of the isolation issues we face as a humanity, we can be part of the solution by sharing our personal Divine gifts with others.

Our words, actions, and behaviors are living prayers that bless ourselves and others. Every interaction we have is an opportunity to express ourselves uniquely and spread Love, kindness, compassion, and goodness to all. In order to share Light, we have to have Light to share. This means we have to be able to fill our own cups before we can fill others. By Loving ourselves, caring for ourselves, living our truths, and following our hearts, we are able to cultivate inner peace and happiness, and fill our vessels with seeds of Light. These seeds then become the new growth of blessings for all those we connect with moving forward.

Some people work their whole lives to have more and more money and things. They accumulate so much stuff, and when they have everything they could ever want, they wonder why they feel so empty. This is because the external world is never going to be the answer to resolving conflicts within. Since happiness comes from the inside, then money can never be the solution to finding it. Spiritual stories like the one with King Solomon help us understand where happiness comes from. When he was asked to choose between riches and wisdom, he chose wisdom. Solomon understood that the happiness we seek is in knowing who we are an our purpose here on Earth. It is in awakening to our destiny, expressing our gifts uniquely, and fulfilling our life's purpose that we unveil the radiant Light that dwells within us. This authentic path that naturally unfolds as we follow the inner voice of the soul then leads us to the next step, and so on.

All of our shadow traits have a counterpart of Light. When we learn how to forgive and heal our past, we can heal the darkness and embody the Light. Health, happiness, and wholeness follow these big shifts, and we become one with the Light. Wherever we go, whomever we speak to, and whatever we do, the Light helps to illuminate the path forward. True happiness comes from finding it within, using it to identify our passions and desires, and then sharing it to help illuminate the path for others. From the inside out, we are able to see how true happiness is manifested. As anchors for future generations, we can practice sharing kindness and Love with everyone we meet.

Learning how to find our happiness in the service of others and the greater good gives us purpose and meaning in life. Once we realize that the Light of health, happiness, and success is all inside of us, then we are empowered to live our destiny and Divine Truth. The more people who live aligned to their destiny and in sync with their soul purpose, the more peace, Love, and harmony we will manifest on Earth.
