When we open our eyes, heart, and mind to the Truth, oftentimes the first response is to quickly try and fix things that appear to be broken. The process of fixing things in disharmony is much different than our ability to integrate our challenges as learning experiences. Integration involves the process of understanding that all things happen for a reason, while fixing things becomes our need to try and make the process of learning life lessons go away quickly. It's not the easiest thing to focus on our consciousness around our life challenges and highlight the problems that need addressing. Instead of being motivated by the pain that our problems cause, we are more inspired by what can help to make us feel whole again. It takes time, patience, and a desire to go deeper into the truths of each situation in order to reveal who we used to be and highlight who we have now become. Solutions birth out of Truth and our ability to truly receive it, assimilate what it really means, digest it deeply, and discern what we need to hold onto from what we need to let go of for the highest good of all involved. Trying to "fix" things oftentimes skips this process and gets to some kind of solution quickly, even if it isn't the wisest route.
Spiritual realizations birth out of the processes of integration and assimilation. It takes time to process our experiences and observe the patterns and dynamics that offer us the answers we need to make positive and lasting changes in our lives. There is nothing to "fix" when we are willing to see things for what they really are. It is about the choice to stay in things that no longer fit us, or our ability to move forward in a new direction when things just stop working our way. We must stop carrying outdated beliefs that no longer resonate with who we are and what we know to be true from our experiences. We have to be willing to stop living out a past that we are internally ready to move beyond.
When we are deep in life patterns and limited beliefs, there are times that we lose sight of the truths that are looking us straight in the eye. Then, suddenly someone turns on the Light and we can see things for what they are. Things may have always been this way, but we can just now see things honestly and truthfully because we have chosen to open our eyes and shine Light on the Truth. We have the choice to turn that light off quickly and keep on keeping on, or to work on clearing the clutter and dissonance that have been destructive in our lives by confronting the Truth head-on. Our desire to fix things becomes an opportunity to change the circumstances that make us feel uncomfortable. Instead, we have an opportunity to integrate the truth deeply and shift the relationship we have with our challenges. This is a response to life instead of a reaction to it. With clarity, compassion, and positive intentions, we are able to find acceptance, detachment, and healing toward the older and more limited ways of being. This helps us embrace our ability to remember who we really are, while letting go of the fear, shame, and all of the past conditioning that have caused us to be stuck in negative patterns in the first place.
Now is the time to open our eyes to the truths that are being revealed, to take in the lessons and wisdom that every situation gifts us, and to make the needed choices, changes, and behaviors that help us move forward in the most positive ways. It's not always easy to accept the truths that life reveals, but when we respond to them with Love and acceptance, we suddenly find ourselves in the realm of endless possibilities. Life is amazing when we can learn how to confront it head on instead of run away from it or try to fix it. Perfection is an illusion, but our imperfections can serve in beautifully authentic, honest, and healing ways when we allow them to. This life is meant to be a learning experience, not a race or a competition toward perfection. When we can embrace each step on this journey as a gift and learning opportunity, then all things are possible. Instead of approaching challenges with the intention of fixing them, we can embrace the lessons they bring and make the space to grow and expand into a greater version of ourselves.
