The contribution of all of us and our deep understandings, gained knowledge, and mental processing of different realities combine in a big ocean of astral energy called the collective consciousness. Each of us has one foot in the waters and one foot in the world, and as we assimilate our lives each day, we contribute to the greater shared reality. In order to access it, we have to slow down, be still, and go inward, as the heart is the place to connect with all that exists. When we look into this ocean of consciousness, we get to see if it is clear or murky. Does it feel safe to swim, or is it a moment to stay out of the waters and lay low in order for the cleansing process to naturally take place. Sometimes we sit at the base of the waters and look inward to our own reflection, processing our experiences and lessons learned. At the end of the day, the thoughts and feelings we hold deep inside of us ripple through the collective consciousness, affecting all who are part of the whole. We feel one another, and we share common fundamental beliefs on different topics and so many levels. This is how we have created the social norms that have highlighted our collective awareness on things that matter to us the most as a society. We our bound together as living beings on this planet with all other forms of life. After billions of years as a planet, everything has already existed that could possibly exist. The Earth has seen all types of humans and all forms of life. We are a product of generations of beings that have lived, learned, and shared their wisdom, perspective, and inner truths with the collective. So where are we now?
Humanity has made enormous strides in technology and medicine. We have learned about the world, how to live more sustainably, and why every living being is a vital piece of the whole. However, we have also learned how to take advantage of one another and cause division between ourselves and anyone or anything different than we are. As we find ourselves at the end of the Kali Yuga, humanity is in the process of going through it's enormously huge purge of the shadow side. We have to move through our darkest hours in order to embrace the Light once again. Naturally, this time feels the most dualistic as we experience extreme corruption, increased violence, injustices, and an overall moral decline. We aren't doomed though - so don't get down. It's part of a bigger shift and natural cycle of balancing Light and dark. At our lowest point, we have so much potential in birthing a new era. Our realities are evolving toward that as we speak. We may see the challenges and they may feel overwhelming at times, but all of it will have to be transmuted in order for the new age to manifest.
We chose to incarnate at this time for a reason. We wanted to be part of this powerful transformation and help to usher in the Light amidst the darkness. We may not have control of the natural disasters, environmental catastrophes, or other Earthly phenomena, but we do have control over what we choose to believe, feel, say, and do on a daily basis. We have control over what we watch, what we listen to, what we purchase, what we engage in, how educated we become, how we react to others in society, our choice of foods to eat, whether or not we exercise, whether or not we connect with the Earth or any other living beings, etc. We have a lot of choices that can impact how we show up in the world every day and who we become in society and in our own neighborhoods, social circles, and families. Even though we weren't raised the same or believe in the same things, we have a choice to take our life stories and help others, ignore others, or hurt others. We get to decide if we are kind, who we want to be kind to, or for what reasons we choose to be kind in any given situation. We get to decide how present ourselves and make a difference in the world, the planet, and for those who don't have a voice.
On this week of tapping into the collective consciousness for strength and hope, the question is, what do we personally bring to the greater whole? It is not a requirement to be an inspiration to others or to serve humanity for the greater good. However, if we really go deep inside the heart, we have the answer to why we chose to incarnate at this crucial turning point in humanity. It isn't happening by chance, as everything that manifests has a purpose in this amazing universe. So why would we want to be here to witness the end of the dark age and the beginning of a new era? Perhaps the answer is in what we believe in deeply to be our "purpose" or "contribution" to the collective. Each of us has to answer that for ourselves.
All I can say is that the passing of a Pope "for the people" highlighted a wonderful example of a human being that practiced compassion, forgiveness, unconditional Love, and true kindness for all. His legacy, beyond anything religious, is a reflection of the type of people we are evolving to be - less judgmental and more of gracious. No matter what his religion preached, he practiced Love in all that he did, and that is to be admired and respected. May each of us find our true purpose and inner grace to become who we were incarnated to become in this lifetime... or better!
