Elder Care Spotlight: Caregiver Resource Center...
I have recently come across a very valuable resource as a caregiver. It is a non-profit organization that was formed in 1988 to assist families who care for a frail adult over the age of 60, or for adults who have brain impairing conditions like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, MS, Lou Gehrig's, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Huntington's Disease. If you are one of those people, I highly suggest going to the website and checking out all of the resources. They may be exactly what you need right now.
I have been watching their saved video classes, and they are extremely helpful. To access educational videos, join a local support group, apply for respite assistance, receive legal advice, get a personal consultation, and more, go to the website. This is a wonderful local resource just waiting to be utilized. Go to CLICK HERE to learn more!
