Essence Protocol of the Week: Excretory System & The Bladder...

The month of April is ruled by Uranus, and it has us highlighting the Excretory System. This particular system of the body works to support the body in removing metabolic wastes and toxins. The organs of the Excretory System that we are focused on are the kidneys, liver, bladder, and urinary tract. This week, we are highlighting the bladder, and three essences that we suggest for bladder health are Bergamot, Lawson Cypress, and Terebinth.

The bladder is located in the lower abdomen and is a hollow organ that stores urine. As the body receives nutrients from what we eat and drink, the waste and extra fluids get released to the bladder to leave the body. Energetically, the bladder represents our fears of letting go, holding onto the past, or being pissed off. When we resolve our emotions, we can help to heal the bladder for good.

Bergamot is a fruit essence known to help the bladder, infections, and septic conditions. She helps with anxiety, depression, frustration, and heart healing after loss and despair. Lawson Cypress is known as the tallest of the cypress trees. She supports the increase of urine flow as a diuretic, is anti-viral, and helps to keep away infections. Energetically, Lawson Cypress helps to remove spiritual blocks, enhances the mood, and strengthens boundaries and inner intentions to be in alignment with the greatest and highest good. Terebinth is an aromatic tree that serves as a natural diuretic, helping urinary inflammation and genital tract infections. She helps to awaken the Light body, soothes, and rejuvenates the entire being. These three essences together work to harmonize the bladder on all levels.

It is best to use essences for one month for every year you have had the symptoms that are being treated. In general, for the average adult weight and height, five to ten drops "neat" on the skin is enough to start anointing each essence 2-3 times a day. Always do a test patch on the inner arm to make sure that the essences are not too powerful to anoint "neat" on your skin. If they bring up a healing response, then use the bottoms of the feet to anoint, and meditate on what is coming up and out emotionally for healing. For bladder healing, it is nice to anoint over the lower abdomen, above the pubic bone. All three essences can be anointed into a hot tea or glass of water by adding a few drops. The bladder benefits greatly from both the internal and external use of plant medicine. Use intuition to guide the way, and remember that less is always more.
