Mudra of the Month: Mudra For Energy...
Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. Mudras are a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.
It's the 10th month of the year, and the Sun has it's influence on us to be better while learning and growing. The Sun enters the challenging aspect of this month as a guide for each of us to face the Light and share the gifts we were meant to share with the world. The Sun is our life force, healing source, and warm, nurturing, and radiant blessing of energy. Those born on a Sunday (or a number that reduces to a one) have a Sun vibration, and can nurture their radiant, sunny, and magnetic energies daily like we are doing this month. Our hands are the microcosms to our lives, projecting the energy of the heart and attracting what we need. By practicing this mudra in the waxing moon, we can manifest more energy in the body, mind, and spirit.
The ring finger is the Sun finger on our hands. This mudra activates the Sun finger on the left hand, with the thumb (Mars) for radiant Light. The right hand, the Solar hand, is used to activate the energetic point in the middle of the left hand. The right thumb (Mars) presses gently into the center of the palm of the left hand to stimulate the "Christ Point" that brings life force, energy, and strength of heart. Practice this hand posture to help increase the energy in the entire being.
How To Get Into The Mudra:
1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.
2. Rub your hands together vigorously.
3. On the left hand, touch the ring finger (Sun) to the thumb (Mars), and straighten the rest of the fingers, while bringing the left palm face up on your lap.
4. Between the ring (Sun) and the pinky (Mercury), the right thumb (Mars) enters the palm to touch the center point on the left hand.
5. Relax your shoulders down and away from your ears, and rest the mudra gently in front of the solar plexus.
6. Smile, breathe, and hold the mudra here for 3 - 11 minutes. Chanting the healing mantra "RaMaDaSaSaSaySoHung" or breathing 3-Point Breath (See Below) is wonderful to do while holding any mudra.
3-Point Breath (Optional):
Inhale for a count of 20. Hold the breath for a count of 20. Exhale for a count of 20. Breathe the entire time from the nostrils while sitting tall, with the eyes closed and focused on the 3rd eye, and with a smile on the face. Continue this breath practice for 3-5 minutes.
