Mudra of the Month: Recharge & Radiate...

Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. Mudras are a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.

The month of January is the 1st month, and the number 1 is related to the Sun. The Sun is our ever-giving Light Source that shines life and vitality on all living things. Solar energy rejuvenates, heals, and recharges the mental, emotional, and physical aspects of the being. This mudra helps direct the forces of nature to bring in the solar force into physical manifestation. Channel the magnetic, radiant, and brilliantly healing energy of Light with this hand posture and recharge and renew your BEing on all levels.

How does this work? By extending the index finger (Jupiter) and the middle finger (Saturn), you are invoking higher wisdom, expansion, and Divine structure. Wisdom brings Light and Light allows one to see beyond the illusion of pain and misunderstanding. When we are filled with Faith and see blessings in all aspects of our lives, it is like the Sun rising within. This inner sunshine is the source of radiant Light energy that manifests good health, abundance, positive relationships, and happiness. When we can illuminate the inner Sun, we become a source of Unconditional Love. The ring finger (Sun) and the pinky (Mercury) represent the elements of Earth and Water. By bringing these two fingers down, we are calming the inner waters of our emotions and feelings, letting go of excess emotional grief, and calming the heart and the nervous system. Like a Divine antenna, this mudra activates the higher forces of Light to ignite the inner healing Light.

How To Perform The Mudra:

1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.

2. Rub your hands together vigorously.

3. Gently curl your pinky and ring fingers (Mercury and Sun) down.

4.  Straighten your thumb, index, and middle fingers (Mars, Jupiter, and Saturn) and bring them together (thumb to thumb, index to index, middle to middle).

5. Rest your curled pinky and ring fingers and wrists together.

6. Relax your shoulders down and away from your ears and bend your elbows softly while bringing the mudra in front of your heart center.

7. Smile, breathe, and chant the healing mantra "RaMaDaSaSaSaySoHung" or practice 3-Part Breath (See Below) is wonderful to do while holding this mudra.

3-Part Breath:

Inhale for a count of 20, Hold the breath for a count of 20, Exhale for a count of 20. Repeat this breath for 3 - 11 minutes to calm the mind and bring balance to the brain.
