Mudra of the Month: For Mental Harmony & Conscious Thought, Word, & Speech...

Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. A Mudra is a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.

The month of May is the 5th month of the year. Five is the number for the balance of the elements that manifests as human in perfected form. This vibration relates to the highest resonance of thought waves that create harmonious beliefs, feelings, speech, attitudes, and actions. When the mind is balanced, everything else follows. The mudra for the month of May addresses any imbalances in the mind. When it is combined with sacred sound, one is able to take the reins of an active mind and center back in the heart of all knowing.

How does it work? The pinky finger (Mercury) is the heart meridian finger. This means that by stimulating the pinky, you are stimulating the heart center. The planet Mercury rules over the mind, communication, and the nervous system. The thumb (Mars) is connected to the center of the brain and our will power. When you bring the thumb (Mars) to the pinky (Mercury), you are invoking the energies of harmony in the mind and all forms of communication, while stimulating the heart to open and take over any negative thought waves.

How To Perform This Mudra:

1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.

2. Rub your hands together vigorously.

3. Gently bring your thumb on top of the nail of your pinky on both hands.

4. Straighten all of the other fingers on both hands.

5. Rest the mudra on your knees with the palms face up.

6. Relax your shoulders and elongate the spine, allowing the chest to rise and the chin to gently relax in and up.

7. Smile and practice Three Part Breath (See Below) while practicing this mudra. In-Joy!

3-Part Breath (Optional):

Inhale slowly into the belly, rib cage, and upper chest for a count of 20. Hold the breath and squeeze the rectum for a count of 20. Exhale from the chest, rib cage, and belly, drawing the navel in toward the spine for a count of 20. Repeat the breath for a total of 3 minutes. SMILE!
