Mudra of the Month: White Diamond Protective Mudra...

Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. Mudras are a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.

It is the 3rd month of the year, and Jupiter brings an expansive and lucky time of year that manifests energetic and physical abundance, travel, and the foods and pleasures of life that we enjoy so much. In saying that, we become very open to both the Light and the dark, either being able to enjoy ourselves with healthy boundaries, or experiencing excess or even addiction to these physical experiences. This hand posture, the White Diamond Mudra, helps to both protect and close off one's energy to harm or lower frequencies.

This mudra enhances the protective qualities of the aura. By holding this hand posture, you are sealing your aura from lower frequencies and energies that desire harm or bring negativity toward you. One of the effects of creating a protective force field is healing. Through the powers of Mars and Jupiter (the thumb and index fingers), you are activating the fires of creation and manifestation. The mind is easily influenced when the aura is weak, therefore we have to cultivate a strong and protective boundary that allows the heart and mind to communicate. This mudra behaves like a good friend who takes you out of unhealthy environments when people start draining your energy. Utilize this when you feel the need to be protected, or to keep unwanted energies out and bring in healing forces of Light.

How To Perform This Mudra:

1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.

2. Rub your hands together vigorously.

3. Gently bring your thumbs (Mars) tips to touch each other.

4. Then gently bring your index (Jupiter) tips to touch each other.

5. Curl your middle, ring, and pinky (Saturn, Sun, and Mercury) fingers down and under.

6. Place the palms, face down, in front of the navel or the solar plexus.

7. Relax your shoulders and elongate the spine, allowing the chest to rise and the chin to gently relax in and up.

8. Smile, breathe, and chant the healing mantra "Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung" or practice Three Part Breath (See Below). In-Joy!

3-Part Breath (Optional):

Inhale slowly into the belly, rib cage, and upper chest for a count of 20. Hold the breath and squeeze the rectum for a count of 20. Exhale from the chest, rib cage, and belly, drawing the navel in toward the spine for a count of 20. Repeat the breath for a total of 3 minutes. SMILE!
