Poem of the Week: Into the Forest of the Heart...

As I walk deep into the forest of my heart,

I ground into the Earth in order to restart.

Charging my being with a healing vibration,

Connecting as one with all my relations.

The Earth projects the power of Love,

Nurturing, healing, and fits like a glove.

She is my medicine when I'm feeling sick,

Slowing me down when I'm being too quick.

I walk on her trails and swim in her seas,

I climb on her rocks and swing in her trees.

Earth Mother helps me return to my center,

Holding me in her arms as I surrender.

She was there before and will be eternal,

With caring instincts so naturally maternal.

I am grateful for the blessings that she shares,

Giving selflessly, she answers all of my prayers.

As I experience her grace I find myself here,

Inside of my heart, with Love and no fear.

Deeply connected, we align as one together,

My heart and the Earth - two birds of a feather.

Retreating to both for comfort and guidance,

These symbols of Love create an alliance.

They help me to live authentically and free,

Supported to be who I was always meant to be.
