Poem of the Week: Keep the Candle Lit...

There's a candle in our hearts shining brightly,

We're keeping it lit daily and nightly.

Fueled by Love, compassion, and joy,

A sacred flame that makes us rejoice.

It's not always so easy to shine,

Then hope appears in the form of a sign.

The flame ebs, flows, and shifts,

Down to an ember, the Light soon uplifts.

Flowing through ups and downs,

Light and dark manifest in rounds.

We only need to embody our own Light,

Owning this inner fuse to ignite.

Not allowing others to put it out,

Or falling into fear, worry, or doubt.

It's the candle of Love and Grace,

Deep in the heart for us to embrace.

As it shines, it guides the way,

Not misguiding or leading us astray.

Illuminating creativity and purpose,

Shining through compassion and service.

A candle we keep lit throughout our lives,

A Divine Source that both heals and drives.

Keep shining bright and strong,

A brilliant flame singing its Love song.
