Poem of the Week: Nurturing Inner Joy...

There is an innocent child living deep inside,

That the world has asked to go and hide.

She likes to dance and sing and play,

And joke around throughout the day.

Allowing curiosity and questions to lead,

Voicing her viewpoints when she disagreed.

Not worried about perfection in any task,

Answering honestly whenever asked.

Feeling safe, protected, and free,

Breathing in deeply with open eyes to see.

Creating with wonder and imagination,

Channeling ideas as Divine inspiration.

Celebrating happiness and having fun,

Radiating pure Light like the Sun.

She will always live in the heart so pure,

Where she feels most safe and secure.

Until courage wins and gives permission,

To let go of all of her inhibitions.

Living through childlike eyes again,

 Moving and stretching in ways so zen.

With purity of heart and Love inside,

Vulnerable to express and no longer hide.

The magic of life still manifests,

Childlike innocence provides the zest.

With gratitude and Love as the guide,

The joy of life can't be denied.
