Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. Mudras are a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.
The month of August is the 8th month of the year. Eight is the number for Saturn - the planet of strength, turning wisdom into understanding, and reflecting on the fruits of our lives in order to create structure, organization, and discipline to carry us forward. During this powerful month, to help in creating a powerful structure to support our highest dreams, goals, and aspirations, this mudra will magnify the infinite faith of heart, which manifests itself as strength, discipline, and understanding.
The middle finger is represented as the Saturn finger, the heart protector, and the element of Ether as the cosmic connection to our soul, as well as the Fire of the heart that expresses passion and protects the BEing from being hurt or misused. When you bring this finger to the thumb, (Mars finger), it is magnified. When you bring both hands together like a linked chain, it creates an infinity lock of blessings magnified with positive energy. For infinite discipline, infinite strength, and infinite understanding, this mudra will support a powerful cosmic connection to the soul.
How To Perform This Mudra:
1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.
2. Rub your hands together vigorously.
3. Gently bring your thumb (Mars) tips to the middle finger (Saturn) tips on each hand while straightening the other fingers.
4. Gently link these two mudras together like a chain, creating an infinity symbol with your hands, maintaining the other straight fingers. (Note that the links can touch each other, and they are more powerful when they are not touching because they are working on the subtle body. Either way, this mudra will work.)
5. Relax your shoulders and elongate the spine, allowing the chest to rise and the chin to gently relax in and up.
6. Smile, breathe, and chant the healing mantra "Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung" or practice Three Part Breath (See Below). In-Joy!
3-Part Breath (Optional):
Inhale slowly into the belly, rib cage, and upper chest for a count of 20. Hold the breath and squeeze the rectum for a count of 20. Exhale from the chest, rib cage, and belly, drawing the navel in toward the spine for a count of 20. Repeat the breath for a total of 3 minutes. SMILE!
