Weekly Insights: The Powers of the Lion's Gate...

There is a window, or portal of time between July 28th and August 12th, where the Earth, the star Sirius, the Orion's Belt constellation, and the Sun in Leo move into alignment with the pyramids of Giza in Egypt. Sirius is the brightest star in the evening sky, and is the symbol of great Light within darkness. In this Lion's Gate time, the Sun and Sirius separate enough to be in sight for everyone to see. In Ancient Egypt, the goddess Sopdet was worshipped as Sirius returned in the morning sky. This time was known as the beginning of a new farming season and year. It is a seeding time, and these seeds have to do with having the strength to live authentically.

There is an energy available to all life on Earth at this time that supports the expansion beyond limitations and into a positive shift toward one's highest destiny. This is a time of cultivating inner strength and using the positive will to move past fear, anxiety, and worry to leap into a more harmonious state of BEing. On the 8th month and the 8th day, we invite in the strength and understanding of Saturn. Slowing down, taking time for the self, listening, and observing can be a strong catalyst for inner strength this month. The cultivation of energy toward what is really important in life is the main focus right now.

Once the Lion within is tamed, then the true courage to live authentically is empowered. The only obstacle in the Lion's way is its own fears. After they have dissipated, there is nothing that the lion cannot accomplish. This is true for the inner lion within us all. Most importantly, every BEing must step outside of their comfort zone, take risks, and follow their dreams in order to have what they really want. Being honest with oneself, facing the harder truths, and letting go of the fear of failure, are all wonderful steps out of the zone of comfort. Saturn shows us the journey toward the Infinite within, and each of us gets to choose to enter or walk away. This Lion's Gate Portal is an invitation to a journey to grow deeper toward our soul expression and purpose. Ride this very elevating and activating source of energy that is available during this time, and allow it to guide you toward a greater sense of purpose and direction toward the soul.
