The eighteenth week of the year is ruled by the planetary influence of Mars, and the The Moon archetype. Mars is a giving planet ruled by the number nine. Mars has power and energy that projects strength, ambition, and endurance. There is a sense of determination present to get the job done and construct or deconstruct whatever is needed in order to get to the end goal. This week, we will either experience an energetic boost or the need to conserve energy and be lazy - depending on how Mars expresses itself through us. As the peace officer, Mars plays the role as the guardian over wrongdoing - helping to protect and serve those close to the heart. There is an abundance of sexual or creative energy this week as well. It is a time to use our will-power and tap into the wisdom deep within to make a difference in this world. Mars holds space for our abundant ideas and creations to manifest. It helps us close loose ends and tie up whatever has been left unfinished or incomplete. The Waning Moon supports us in letting go of destructive habits or patterns in our lives, and cut ties with anything that is distracting us from our goals.
"The Moon" archetype is an intuitive, emotional, nurturing, and feeling energy. Although the Moon oftentimes brings up the illusions, this archetype digs deeper into what lies underneath the illusions. It is a time of internal reflections, insights, intuitive hits, dreams, and gut feelings. The inner voice has the microphone this week in order to reveal what we Love versus what we fear of the most. Paying attention to our feelings, reflecting on what's going on, visualizing the desired outcome, and creating the space to allow the inner voice to sing will all support more peaceful manifestations. "The Moon" sheds Light on the areas of contradiction, extremes, and disharmony in our lives in order for us then take actions that align better to who we really are inside. Mars helps "The Moon" to take action toward a reality that feels more in sync with our Truth. Changes arrive with the lunar phases, so we can expect to feel things moving around in our realities. As long as we can stay in the flow and rise and fall with the tides, then we will not experience change as disruption. Instead, we can embrace it as a gift of transformation.
