Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. Mudras are a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.
The month of September is the 9th month of the year. The number 9 is symbolic in its connection to the planet Mars - the planet of action. Mars is a dynamic, magnetic, and magical energy that can construct or destruct anything and everything. This force is so powerful, that it holds the capacity to bring in world peace and constructive communication that builds bridges and manifests positive action for change. We can utilize the force of this powerful energy by directing our intentions and cosmic hands to activate harmony within and around us.
The mudra for harmonizing Heaven and Earth within allows the Light of the palms to give and receive, circulating prana with the support of the breath. Directing these forces of Light to activate and radiate, the left palm receives on the level of the physical plane while the right hand projects out at the level of the astral plane. At the same time, the astral energies of the heart are receiving Light waves and circulating them out to the physical plane of action through the left hand. The mind's eye is focused at the brow point for unity and oneness consciousness, and the energy has a flow of Loving cosmic waves in and out, circulating and vibrating throughout the entire being. The upper six meridians of the lungs, large and small intestines, heart, pericardium, and triple burner are activated and harmonized through this posture as well. Overall, this mudra helps to restore the body, mind, and spirit into a state of harmony and balance.
How To Perform This Mudra:
1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.
2. Rub your hands together vigorously.
3. Gently bring your right hand, palm facing forward, to the side of the body at the height of the shoulder with the fingers together.
4. Bring the left palm, wrist bent and palm facing forward and fingers closed, down to the level of the hip/knee with the arm straight but not locked.
5. Relax your shoulders and elongate the spine, allowing the chest to rise and the chin to gently relax in and up. Close the eyes and focus at the brow (3rd eye) point.
6. Smile, breathe, and chant the healing mantra "Ra Ma Da Sa Sa Say So Hung" or practice Three Part Breath (See Below). In-Joy!
3-Part Breath (Optional):
Inhale slowly into the belly, rib cage, and upper chest for a count of 20. Hold the breath and squeeze the rectum for a count of 20. Exhale from the chest, rib cage, and belly, drawing the navel in toward the spine for a count of 20. Repeat the breath for a total of 3 minutes. SMILE!
