Mudra of the Month: Mudra for Fearlessness...

Mudra means "To Please", and is a way to invoke the unseen forces for health and happiness. You can literally manifest your destiny with the palm of your hands. Mudras are a type of sign language to the angelic realm. Every day, hire the angels of Light and fire the angels of darkness with Mudra Therapy.  

  

  The month of December is a 12, and when you reduce this number (1 + 2 = 3) you get the planetary influence of Jupiter. Jupiter is the "Lord of Spiritual and Material Growth", and teaches one to expand infinitely in spiritual connection, physical space, abundance, and justice. In order to take risks and make big leaps of faith, one must let go of all fears, doubts, worries, or negativity that could be holding the soul back from expansion. Mudra Therapy supports this expansion by creating a symbol with the body to communicate with the soul and the higher angelic forces for support to remove these fears and ultimately move into one's destiny. 


  How does this work? The hands create a road map of the physical body, and the entire hand is a symbol of all of the organs and systems. When you place the back of one hand over the other, you are stimulating all of the systems of the entire physical body. The head, the neck, the heart, and the body are all being supported by their balancing point on the opposite hand. It's almost like you are laying back to back with yourself with one aspect facing the heavens and another facing the Earth. In doing so, you create the perfect Star of David - the harmony and balance of the yin and yang. This is the dance between polarities - fire and water, masculine and feminine, and positive and negative. When we can find our balance of these polarities within ourselves, and support ourselves by "having our own back", our fears, doubts, and worries begin to melt away. 


This mudra reminds us that we are our own healers and we have the strength to create the reality we desire by directing the forces within to manifest the outcome into our realities. Take time to sit peacefully in breath or mantra meditation and connect to your personal will, strength, and ability to be calm and centered. Direct the energies in your life consciously to work for you. When you can conquer your deepest and darkest fears, your soul can truly fly into your Truth!


How To Get Into The Mudra:

1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.

2. Rub your hands together vigorously.

3. Gently place your right palm (face up) on top of your left palm (face down) at chest level.

4.  Bring your elbows, fingers, and wrists parallel to the ground so that everything is in one straight line.

5. Relax your shoulders down and away from your ears and bend your elbows softly.

6. Smile, breathe, and chant the healing mantra "RaMaDaSaSaSaySoHung" or practice 3-Point Breath (See Below) is wonderful to do while holding any mudra.


3-Point Breath (Optional):

Inhale for a count of 20, Hold the breath for a count of 20, Exhale for a count of 20. Repeat this breath for 3 - 11 minutes to calm the mind and bring balance to the brain.
