It's February, the second month of the year, and the Moon reflects its planetary influence of a flowing, nurturing, intuitive, and emotional vibration. Silver Triangle Mudra embodies the essence of the Astral Light to direct for strength, vitality, life force, and a bright aura. This mudra helps to rebuild the body. It is a hand posture to practice when recovering from a long illness or when the life force is weak, in order to bring the body back into harmony and flow. Silver Triangle helps the eyes become strong and clear, as the windows into the soul. This impacts both the visible eyes as well as the inner astral eye that can see beyond the veils of the physical plane.
The pinky is connected to the heart and our ability to communicate and express clearly. The ring finger helps to activate healing energy in the body and radiate the Light from within. When these two fingers are activated by the thumb, profound healing energy is released in order to support the body in rebuilding itself after being down. The index and middle fingers extend long to attract abundant health, harmonize the gut, balance the heat in the body, and call in the forces of discipline, structure, and protection. Together, the hands invoke the higher forces of wellness to help the being recover and strengthen on all levels.
How To Perform The Mudra:
1. Straighten the spine in a comfortable posture sitting, standing, or laying down.
2. Rub your hands together vigorously.
3. Bring the thumb, pinky, and ring finger tips together on both hands, while straightening the index and middle fingers.
4. Bring this mudra, palms face up, onto the knees.
5. Relax your shoulders and elongate the spine, allowing the chest to rise and the chin to gently relax in and up. Close the eyes and focus at the brow (3rd eye) point and smile.
6. Practice 3-part breath (see below) or chant RaMaDaSaSaSaySoHung for healing.
3-Point Breath (Optional):
Inhale for a count of 20, Hold the breath for a count of 20, Exhale for a count of 20. Repeat this breath for 3 - 11 minutes to calm the mind and bring balance to the brain.
